On this episode of DLEW, I talk with Denver-based dance artist Tara Rynders.
Tara is not only a creator of immersive performances, but she is also a registered nurse. Through her work as a nurse, Tara has cultivated her ability to be present with and connect with people, and she uses that skill in the incredibly unique work that she creates.
Tara creates large scale immersive performances and performances that happen for just one person at a time. Drawing from her work as a registered nurse, Rynders creates authentic connections through performance that allow guests to feel seen, heard and inspired to create alongside her. She is an Arts in Society grantee, a past RedLine artist in residence, and has been named a “cutting edge dance artist” by Colorado Dance Alliance. Next up for Rynders is First, Do No Harm an immersive theater experience at Rose Medical Center.
Dance Like Everyone’s Watching with Andrea Muhlbauer is the show that brings you inspiration and insight into creating with purpose. Andrea and her amazing guests take you behind the scenes into the world of creating and producing art of all disciplines.
