On this episode of DLEW, I talk with Aisling Halpin, performer, choreographer, and teacher in NYC.
Working hard to be technically proficient is important, but there’s MUCH more to performing than just technique, or even talent. In this episode, Aisling touches on an important, and too often overlooked, aspect of being a collaborative artist.
Aisling Halpin (pronounced Ash-Leen) grew up in a small town in Central NY.
She received her BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University and was able to graduate a semester early to start auditioning as soon as possible.
Since school, she has been fortunate enough to perform in over 40 states in the USA, thanks to many national tours and regional theatres!
Aisling is also a passionate teacher and choreographer. She has been teaching dance since college to students from age 3 to adult. Her choreography has also been performed regionally at summerstocks, colleges, and dance competitions!
She is currently based in NYC; singing and dancing as much as she can!
